A Richfield City Police officer was not injured when he crashed his patrol car into one of the bulb-outs along Richfield City's Main Street Monday morning.The incident occurred at approximately 4 a.m., when Kevin Christensen, 23, Richfield, was traveling northbound between 100 and 200 North Main Street and collided with one of the new cement decorations, according to Nate Curtis, Sevier County Sheriff's Office public information officer.Curtis said that Christensen did not receive any injuries in the incident; however, the vehicle received substantial damage to the undercarriage and had to be towed.Drowsy driving was blamed for the accident.
