What we have been up to . . .

It has been a busy summer so far. Working the fence.

They had a lot of fun.

THEN Marilou came back and went straight to a scout day camp with Jacob!

We took some time to check out Jim and Granny's new home.

This is in the "crawl" space. Granny is sure excited about the raidiant heating.

The house sure looks nice. Hope it can handle the wind better then the shed has. :(

Then we took off to see Marilou's Kuya. This is Jessica holding Reily. Romel and Kate's son.

Then we took some time to enjoy Temple Square.

The Arnold Freeburg art gallery in the conferance center is great. Jacob and I really love this portail of Mormon and his son Moroni.

Jacob can DRIVE!

We went to Granny's to have dinner. (We ate some amazing home made barbacoa pork) Then Granny showed Jacob and I how to drive the Skid Steer. It is acrazy little guy. I imagine it is a lot like driving a giant fighting robot without the giant and fighting part.

ANYWAY

I took this video with our new LG Dare phone. Turned out rather well. It is a fun phone. I am still working over the touch screen interface part. It is kinda hard to deal with.

Marilou made me do it.

 

I know I am a fairly tall fellow. I am for the most part jolly. I might even be considered a giant in some places (Like the Philippines). I am how ever, not green.

Memorial Day

While others took time out to remember those that have made this contry great, We worked on our yard.



CRUMB! That is a lot of fence we tore down. WHAT?! There is more. .



We are VERY tired.

Pet Shop Boys - Girls Don't Cry: A Veronica Mars tribute.

So , you know the Pet Shop Boys put out a net album two years ago. They went on tour last year. The UPN/WB happened to can one of the best shows they have ever had. When I fist heard "Girls Don't Cry" (a B-side for the "I'm with Stupid" single), I knew it had to be made into a VM tribute. So . . . here is a stab at it.

Because we have to eat ALL THIS! Uncle Tim came for the great day and stole the show with the most amazing enchiladas we have ever eaten.

Note uncle Tim there at the end with the white T-shirt on. Turns out he is not only good at welding, truck driving and world peace, he is an accomplished chef!

All Saints Day

Utah State Fair Weird Al concert.

So, I took the kids to see "Weird Al" It was AWESOME. I did not bring a camera or anything so this other show he did that someone else videoed will due.



Al and his band is amazing. I can not believe how diverse their musical talent is.



If Al ever stops by your town I highly recomend going to see his show.

Milford flat fire.

Here is a huge collection of photos during and after the fire out near the Blundell powerplant. There are just too many pictures to embed them all into my blog so I put them on the google web albums.

I took only about 30 of the post fire images found there. The rest are a collection of people that live and work in or around Milford. I know time date stamps on some of the images are messed up.
